Country living is different to city living.
In the city, life is exciting with everything on your doorstep. In the country, community thrives and the landscape is beautiful. City life is competitive and expensive but full of opportunity. Country life is quiet but connected to nature. For many, too much city living leads to a craving for nature. And dwelling too long in the country can fuel a yearning for the city buzz.
I’m a city girl at heart but after three months of living in Tirol, the countryside is growing on me. Here is a snapshot of country life in Oberndorf, a rural corner of the Austrian Alps.
