The best way to get there is to fly into Malaga airport and get a transfer down to Marbella. You’ll find plenty of transport options at the airport as lots of people fly to Malaga specifically to go to Marbella.

Plus, as you can see on the map below, it’s a 35-minute drive to Marbella from the airport. You could even hire a car and drive there yourself.

Where to stay

The great news is that Marbella has no shortage of incredible places to stay. You’ll see plenty of hotels with great amenities and lots of luxury resorts.

If you want to make your visit extra special, consider renting a luxury apartment in Marbella for added privacy and peace of mind.

There are so many apartments to rent in the area and finding one with a sea view shouldn’t be a problem either.

What to do

Now, we move onto the big question: what can you do in Marbella?

Well, it’s more a question of what can’t you do. With a reputation as a party destination there are plenty of bars and restaurants to visit during your stay.

Then there are the fantastic beaches along the coastline that are well worth your time when the sun is out. In fact, many people come to Marbella to soak up the sun during the day and enjoy the nightlife in the evening.

It’s not all beaches and bars though. There are loads of other amazing sights and scenes in Marbella.

There’s a stunning Old Town district that looks gorgeous and is full of historical sights. There are museums, art galleries, regular festivals, and so much more. Plus, there are excellent golf courses and luxury beach clubs as well.
