Issue 1: Inspiration from the city
Remember the days when travel was as easy as booking a one-way ticket and heading off with a backpack? I do. I built my life around it for more than a decade. Then 2020 rolled around, borders closed and flights were grounded. So, where does that leave people whose lives, families and careers have been built on the ability to travel? Remembering and reflecting.
For this first volume of Nomad, the focus is on the cities that became more than just a place to tick off the travel bucket list. The stories are not ‘How to’ guides or day-to-day itineraries. Instead, they focus on the atmosphere of a place with observations on the culture and lifestyle. It’s about looking back and reflecting before we start moving forward again.
